The World of Spiritual Music

"HEAVEN AND EARTH" Spiritual Music Soundtrack on tour

 spiritual music

Music is next to meditation. Spiritual music can transport you directly into a state of divine consciousness. In my personal case, I was always uplifted, when I heard well played and sung spiritual music. So I started to train myself to play various instruments, instruments, that are inspiring and having a spiritual message. 3 years ago I started to play the harp. It was quite a long way to my first examination at the music school, but now I can use this instrument for all the performances and concerts we are doing.

When I discovered the effect of Sri Chinmoy's compositions on people, I immediately knew, this is the kind of music I have to interpret. What a treasure lies in the eternal melodies.

We are starting to give concerts now. Cello, harmonium, synthesizer, Harp, erhu, tablas and gongs are building the instrumental block of the concerts. People like it like anything. They start to dream and meditate from the very first melodies.

We are ready to go forward with this musical manifestation. We do offer the music and concerts as "Klangreise" which means "Journey of sound" and call the concerts with the simple name: HEAVEN and EARTH. This is so beautiful and descibes exactly, what we offer. Spiritual music, played as a very sensitive interpretation with musical sense and feeling.

At our last concert in Linz (time of Germany/Argentinia football decision) the concert hall was full, people had to go and could not enter the concert hall. Later, after the concert a lady said: " . . . this kind of music took me from the first moment, I could not move the whole concert. How beautiful. Some years ago I heard a cassette of AKASHA who played compositions of Sri Chinmoy. This music today was the same, it was the sound of a world beyond. Thank you."

Next events planned: HEAVEN and EARTH Klangreise on a boattrip at the Traunsee, Gmunden HEAVEN and EARTH Klangreise together with the JHARNA KHALA exhibition in Vienna, September Oktober 2006, Künstlerhaus
